When President Barack Obama stopped by New York’s Apollo Theater last week for a fundraiser, he had a little fun and went acapella when he saw soul crooner Al Green in the audience. He serenaded the crowd with a few lines from the Reverend’s classic hit Let’s Stay Together, the internet had some fun, and we thought that would be the end of it.

But to our surprise, he ended up putting a little extra change in Al Green’s pocket. Sales of “Let’s Stay Together” increased by 490%!

 Roxy Music Set To Release 12 Disc Career Spanning Box SetPhotos: Bryan FerryRoxy Music plans on celebrating their 40th anniversary in a big way. Virgin Records is set to release a career spanning box set, Roxy Music: The Complete Studio Recordings 1972-1982, on April 2. The collection will include eight CDs and four DVDs with “high-resolution audio.”

The albums set to be re-released are: Roxy Music, 1972; For Your Pleasure and Stranded, 1973; Country Life, 1974; Siren, 1975; Manifesto, 1979; Flesh and Blood, 1980; and Avalon, 1982. It’s amazing that this didn’t happen while he was alive, but yesterday in Hollywood, Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson were all on hand, along with other celebrity guests including Smokey Robinson and Quincy Jones, to honor Michael Jackson with his hand and footprints on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They used Michael’s sequined glove and a pair of his dancing shoes to make the prints.
