Through March 20th, the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is partnering with Popeye’s Chicken to raise funds to benefit Muscular Dystrophy research and services for MD patients worldwide. Recently, we had Brittany Lara from the MDA speak to us on “SUNNY Across Central Florida” about the “Appetite For A Cure” partnership, as well as provide information on Muscular Dystrophy and the valuable services our local MDA office in Lake Mary offers to the community.
Here’s more information about the event:
A fundraising campaign conducted by Sailormen, Inc. at Popeyes restaurants in Central Florida and across the Southeast will provide customers with valuable discounts while garnering support for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s worldwide research and services programs.
Throughout the duration of the campaign, from February 1 to March 20, associates at participating Popeyes locations will sell coupon cards worth $30 for only $1.
The Appetite for a Cure program directly helps local families affected by muscular dystrophy and related diseases by helping fund the Association’s worldwide research program, as well as MDA’s network of more than 200 medical clinics. Medical services in South Florida are provided through clinics at the University of Miami.
