Regarding a photo of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Barack Obama, drummer Joey Kramer tweeted,"This is not representative of Aerosmith."

After Joe Perry and Steven Tyler met President Obama by chance in Florida, the Aerosmith Twitter handle shared a photo to commemorate the occasion. The image was previously shared on Perry and Tyler’s personal accounts, but bandmate Joey Kramer took umbrage with the decision to share the sitting Democratic president’s image via the band’s social media account.

“This is not representative of Aerosmith,” he tweeted. The image was then taken down from the Aerosmith handle.

“Everyone has their right to their opinion it’s called democracy & I support that,” Kramer added. “I’m not saying who I support! I don’t support anyone speaking for me.”

Kramer has vocally opposed certain Obama policies on social media while Perry, a staunch Republican, called the chance meeting with POTUS “pretty cool.”
