SafeHouse of Seminole Provides Safe Haven For Domestic Abuse Victims

Every nine seconds, another women in the U.S. becomes a victim of domestic violence. In Florida, that translates to more than 3,000 women staying at a shelter or using provider-based services. In Central Florida, some 400 women and children found safe haven at SafeHouse of Seminole last year alone.

Jeanne Gold, CEO of SafeHouse of Seminole, talked about domestic violence and the work of SafeHouse of Seminole on SUNNY Across Central Florida.
