On this day in 1969 Miles Davis was pictured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

In 1975 Foghat released “Slow Ride.”

On this day in 1985…Phil Collins appeared on “Miami Vice” playing a drug dealer.

Let’s jump to 1992 In Frankfurt, Germany, an estimated 150,000 people showed up to see the rock band Scorpions performing in a free concert protesting violence by the country’s radical rightists.

And finally, it was on this day in 1999 that Broadcast Music Incorporated declared “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin'” to be the most played (BMI) song of the century on American radio and television, with more than eight million airings.
