Help Replace Stolen Items From Habitat-For-Humanity House In Cocoa

There are criminals and then there are the lowest of low, thugs that steal from people who are in need themselves. Thieves stole nearly $5,000 worth of items from a home being built by Habitat for Humanity in Cocoa.

News 6 reported spoke with Site Supervisor Bruce Challender with Habitat for Humanity who said thieves stole laminate wood kitchen cabinets, four white interior doors that go to the bedrooms and a power saw.

Organizer said this home is being built for a single mom with three kids who have been on site helping from day one. Chandler said they have over a thousand volunteers and fear it may be one of them responsible for the theft.
