I remember this story well. It was on this day in 2003, that 100 people were killed and 230 injured at The Station nightclub in Rhode Island, during a Great White concert. Ty Longley, guitarist for Great White, was one of the victims. The fire started with sparks from a pyrotechnic display set off by their road manager. Multiple charges were brought against a slew of people including more than a million dollar fine for the club owners.
