Surviving Beatles Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr Reunite For Recording Session

Rolling Stone reports that the two surviving Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, got together in the studio over the weekend to record new music.

Starr tweeted a photo of himself and McCartney, saying, โ€œThanks for coming over man and playing Great bass. I love you man peace and love.โ€

Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, who also happens to be Starr’s brother-in-law, was also in attendance for the recording session.

The all-star (pun intended) session appears to be for Starr’s new album, the follow-up to 2015’s Postcards from Paradise. The last time that Starr and McCartney recorded together was in 2010 for Starr’s album Y Not, where McCartney sang on “Walk With You” and played bass on “Peace Dream.”
