New Study Suggests Orlando Among Cities With “Worst Traffic”

It’s not uncommon for someone to tell you that you have to take I-4 to get somewhere in Orlando and you moan or immediately see if John Young Parkway will take you there. (Fun fact, it probably can.)

However, a recent study has found that Orlando is among cities with the worst traffic.

In the United States, we rank 28th out of 240 cities. When compared to the rest of the world, we’re 148th out of over 1,000.

Meaning we’re knocking on the door of the top 10% with the worst traffic.

Anyone who travels I-4 daily knows the struggle, but even “reliever roads” like 417 and 408 have become congested with daily traffic tie ups in densely populated areas such as Lake Nona and of course, downtown.

You can see the full results here.
