Viral Vid Fun: ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Flub Goes Viral

Once upon a time, in 1947 to be exact, American playwright Tennessee Williams wrote a classic ode to New Orleans, the play A Streetcar Named Desire.

And now, 70 years later, that play title’s appearance on Wheel of Fortune has turned it into a viral sensation. Except it isn’t so much the accurate title, but more the strange distortion of the title that occurred when Wheel contestant Kevin threw in a K instead of an M, warping the title to A Streetcar Naked Desire. Check out how it all played out below.

Once the episode aired, references to it, and the apparently theatrically ignorant contestant Kevin, became a hot topic on social media. Check out some of the hilarious posts referencing the now infamous flub.
