It’s probably the least sexy day of them all, but it’s mighty tasty. It’s National Garlic Day, today, April 19th!
In honor of National Garlic Day, let’s take a look at some fun garlic facts. National Today asked 1,000 Americans about their garlic preferences, and some of them may surprise you! Check these out:
- Half of Americans can’t get enough garlic! 52% of Americans believe there’s no such thing as too much garlic. Another 14% report putting garlic in everything they cook, while 6% even enjoy the taste of raw garlic.
- 9 in 10 Americans would actually kiss someone with garlic breath! Only 5% of Americans say that they have avoided smooching someone because of their garlicky breath. 88% say garlic breath doesn’t bother them and are totally fine with kissing a garlic eater.
