Do you have a story to tell? Orlando Story Club gives anyone who wishes to tell a personal story a chance to be randomly selected to share their story. It all takes place every other month at The Abbey in downtown Orlando. The next gathering is Wednesday, May 3rd from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Story tellers are chosen at random with prizes awarded for the top three stories. This month’s theme is “Can You Keep a Secret”. Admission is five dollars with proceeds benefiting a different charity each time. This month all proceeds benefit the Victim Service Center of Central Florida which aids victims of sexual assault, violent crime and other traumatic events.
Executive Director of the Downtown Arts District Barbara Hartley and Executive Director of the Victim Service Center Lui Damiani talked about Orlando Story Club and the Victim Service Center on SUNNY Across Central Florida.
