Note to self: start shopping yard sales!
A woman in London bought a ring bought for $13 at a garage sale in the 80s and she wore it all the time only to find out it has been valued at over $400,000. WHAAAT?!
The owner had the piece appraised in the last few months and discovered it was a genuine cushion-shaped diamond weighing 26.27 carat diamond! A $13 dollar investment turns into half mill? Nice. ~grace
The ring is scheduled to be sold at Sotheby’s on June 7th.
