The Make’m Smile Festival Celebrates Kids With Special Needs

By Michael Rafferty

The 15th Annual Make’m Smile festival celebrating kids with special needs takes place on Saturday, June 3rd from 7:30 a.m. to 1: p.m. at Lake Eola. Make’m Smile is hosted by Nathaniel’s Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing hope with kids with special needs. Special needs include any physical, cognitive, medical or hidden disability, chronic or life threatening illness, or those who are medically fragile. The festival, which last year drew over 50,000 participants, will feature entertainment, characters, art projects, food and family activities.

Marie Kuck of Nathaniel’s Hope talked about the Make’m Smile festival on SUNNY Across Central Florida.
