CeeLo Green from The Voice is having a birthday, so is the lady that sang “Let It Go” in Frozen, Idina Menzel, and last, but not least, Wynonna Judd.

Let’s start in 1966, The Beatles released “Paperback Writer.” The song was written by Paul and John, as a response to Paul’s aunt asking if they could write a song not about love.

On this day in 1968 “Mrs. Robinson” by Simon & Garfunkel was the #1 song.

Ray Stevens went to No.1 on this day in 1970 with ‘Everything Is Beautiful’. He would hit #1 again a few years later with “The Streak.” Ray started as a Dj before singing.

On this day in 1978, Led Zeppelin began work on their final album, “In Through the Out Door.”

David Bowie kicked off his 87-date Glass Spider world tour on this day in 1987 in Rotterdam, Holland. It was one of the most lavish tour set ups of it’s time and was seen by more than 6 million people.

And let’s end Today in Music History with some wedding bells. It was on this day in 1992, that Paul Simon married his third wife, singer Edie Brickell of the New Bohemians. They have three children and are still together.
