Companions for Courage is a non-profit organization made up of volunteer teams of a special therapy dog and a handler that accompany child victims of violent crimes who have to testify in court or at depositions. Companions for Courage dogs are also available for any child in a hospital room, counseling centers or shelters as well as for visits to schools and children’s events.

Laurie Stogsdill and Adele Simons talked about Companions for Courage on SUNNY Across Central Florida.
