Despite health care advances, men are still dying nearly five years earlier than women. With that in mind, all men are encouraged to attend the Men’s Health Challenge at the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County in Sanford. The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., includes health screening, immunizations, sports physicals, education, training, speakers….and hair cuts! Screening tests are one of the most important things men can do for their health because it can help doctors detect diseases earlier.
