Today, in Central Florida, there are about 3,000 children who are not able to live at home or sleep in their own beds due to neglect or abuse. Foster parents allow these kids to “feel normal” and provide them the love, stability and structure they need during a scary and traumatic time. Community Based Care of Central Florida (CBCCFL) provides the resources and support needed to help these kids find foster parents.

CBCCFL Community Impact Manager Danielle Abbey and foster parent Christina Wilson talked about foster parenting on SUNNY Across Central Florida.
