Today In Music History: 07/10/17

Let’s get it rolling on this day in 1964. The Four Tops released the single “Baby I Need Your Loving.” It was there first million seller and peaked at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100.

On this day in 1965, The Rolling Stones started a four week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” It was the Stones first #1 song here in the states. 

Smokey Robinson & the Miracles performed on “American Bandstand,” on this day in 1971.

Cher gave birth to Elijah Blue Allman, on this day in 1976, her only child with Gregg Allman.

We jump to this day in 1984, when Ricky Martin began a five-year run in the boy band Menudo.

Bob Seger got married on this day in 1993, to his third wife, Juanita Dorricott. They have two kids and own a house in Naples, Florida.
