Don’t take away my man card! My wife got me watching Real Housewives a long time ago. I find it interesting that people with “that kind” of money find it necessary to reveal all their personal information on national television. I guess many of them MUST be starved for attention. That would be the ONLY way to explain it.
Well, the 11th season of RHOC ended with Vicky standing pretty much alone. Except for the friendship of Kelly Dodd, she finds herself on an island (again), and has now found a new “man.”
Vicky’s last boyfriend (it appeared) created a fallacy that he had cancer, and seemed to milk it for all it was worth. [sidebar: it also created a tremendous amount of fodder for the Bravo franchise show to draw viewers in.]
Those two are both back for season 12, along with Tamra Judge, who sporting a newly tightened face and body (she’s now participating in fitness competitions.
Also on this season’s starting roster…some returning ladies Meghan King Edmonds, Shannon Beador, and Lydia McLaughlin (who’s returned because I guess she couldn’t find enough drama in a private life, or they’ve upped her “appearance fee/salary) and a rookie to the show, Peggy Sulahian.
Not that there will be any prizes awarded or fireworks going off – but Peggy is the Bravo franchise’s 100th Housewife. Peggy, an Armenain-born mom with two teenage girls and a 9-year-old son, comes to the show by way of Lydia. We can expect that with two teenage girls in her home, that it will likely create its own drama. I should know, I once had a teenage girl at home myself. Maybe you can relate.
Here’s the trailer for the upcoming season. Don’t be fooled by the serene landscape at the beginning, you’ll hear the screeching voices only three seconds into the video.
Let me not be a spoiler, but, I will tell you that you can expect to see appearances this season from former RH Gretchen Rossi, and Lizzie Rosvek.
There are also ugly rumors about Tamra’s husband being gay which will be addressed right from the start of the show’s 12th season.
One of the things you likely noticed is that Shannon has packed on some weight. She said, “All I want to do is eat,” and continues, “This is stress, and that is Vicki Gunvalson.”.
And while Meghan is dealing with being a new mom, Kelly Dodd has parental advice for her co-star and tells Meghan, “You should be taking care of your baby instead of sitting there worried about gossip.”
It’s gonna get ugly. I guess some things NEVER change on that show.
