There is a shortage of registered nurses in Central Florida. Recent estimates show a need for over 4,500 new nurses right now and 8,400 openings in the region by 2023. Dean of Nursing at Seminole State College Dr. Cheryl Cicotti talked about the new nursing degree on SUNNY Across Central Florida.
