To help with maintaining communication both before and after Hurricane Irma hits Florida, Comcast is opening its Florida WiFi hotspots to everyone free of charge, whether you are a Comcast Xfinity internet customer or not.
If you’re not currently a subscriber to the service, you will be asked to sign into a page that will allow you two hour access to the service for each session. Once those two hours have been used, you may log in again for another two hours.
The free WiFi service is currently scheduled to run through Friday, September 15th.
You will want to choose the “xfinitywifi” network when you are in one of the hotspots.
