Flights In/Out Of Orlando Could Cease Due To Irma

Orlando International Airport (MCO) could put a halt on flights coming in and out of Orlando due to the impact of Hurricane Irma.

Earlier news reports stated MCO could place a stop on incoming and outgoing commercial flights into OIA starting Saturday (9/9) at 5 PM. Granted, some airlines might stop their flights before a mandatory stoppage, so check with your airline before leaving for the airport. For general flight information at MCO call 407-825-2352 or you can visit www.OrlandoAirports.net.

Airport authorities said they are closely monitoring the storm and a decision on flight cancellations will be made later Thursday afternoon.
