Staff Sergeant Cory Hinkle was driving to his home in Forest City, North Carolina from his National Guard base in Charlotte when he saw a head-on collision.
And smoke. And a woman in one of the cars.
Cory didn’t even hesitate, he pulled the woman (who had a badly broken ankle) out of the car and COVERED HER with his own body when the car exploded.
