A Harris Poll in 2016 found that more than 8 million Americans are vegetarians or vegans (NO animal products consumed). And it can be an issue for folks who are to find good restaurants.

WalletHub compared the 100 largest U.S. cities looking for the cheapest places to live for for a plant-based diet. They examined each city based on things like the cost of groceries for vegetarians, the share of restaurants serving meatless options and the number of salad shops.
