Plastic surgery is not the kind of gift you normally shop for but if the other person has hinted its what they want why not?
On the upside, the winter holidays are a convenient time for plastic surgery procedures. We have time off from work, we’re inside wearing cozy, comfy clothes; it’s perfect time!
According to a survey by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons they found more people than ever are now saying they would offer a plastic surgery procedure as a gift to their significant other, friend or mother during the holiday season. Here’s the breakdown:
Most Commonly Gifted Procedures:
11% tummy tuck
Here’s What People Say:
27% of women say they would want to receive a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure as a gift
32% of women are opposed to getting such a gift
20% of men say they would want to receive a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure as a gift
26% of men are opposed to getting such a gift
37% of surveyed Millennials and Gen Xers say they are “very willing” or “somewhat willing” to talk with someone about wanting a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure as a gift
Just 25% of Baby Boomers surveyed sid the same
Men say, if they were to gift a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure, they’d most-likely (34%) give it to their significant other (10% would gift it to their mother!) Wow, those poor moms! What happened to flowers or a day at the spa?
Women say if they were to gift a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure, they’d most-likely (26%) give it to a friend, and 20% would gift it to their mother! BAM, again, mom. Sorry mom’s I think they’re trying to tell you something!
Actually, if mom has been talking about that tummy tuck or Botox, why not? It’s better to a gift they’re going to use than another boring black purse they keep in the closet and never use. ~grace
