Three out of four people have HPV (human papillomavirus) by the time they are 30. Jason Mendelsohn is one of those people. He found out after noticing a bump on his neck. After a needle biopsy, it was discovered that Jason had HPV related tonsil cancer. He had no symptoms other than the bump on his neck. That is when his cancer journey began…and how he came to be known as Superman HPV.

Jason is a co-chair of the Head Neck Cancer Alliance’s Patient Education Committee.

Jason Mendelsohn shared his story on SUNNY Across Central Florida.
