If you’ve planned a wedding you know that it can be an energy, time and money suck.

It’s the main reason so many people hire bridal planners to do most of the logistical work.

And the cost? It only adds more stress! The average couple spends over $35,000 for their big day.

Between the invitations, venue, planning a menu and obsessing over the cake (or cakes, or donuts, or cupcakes…), it’s no wonder weddings are arranged months, or years, in advance.

Tying the knot is a huge commitment, and the $76 billion wedding industry is growing by the year.

WalletHub compared more than 180 U.S. cities to find the cheapest and most convenient wedding destinations that also promise a memorable day. They examined each city across 23 key indicators of wedding-friendliness, ranging from average cost to venues and event spaces per capita to hotel availability.

Orlando came out on top yet again!
