Today marks a month since the horrific Parkland, FL school shooting that left 17 students and a teacher dead and 17 others wounded with bullet shots. The debate over gun control began immediately after the tragedy even though there is now ample evidence that several agencies including Broward Sheriff and the FBI knew the shooter Nikolas Cruz was dangerous.

The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students have been very vocal making several appearances on national news shows calling for gun control.

To show support for the Parkland students several students at schools across the country will mark the month anniversary of the shooting by walking out of class. Some school’s are planning other forms of support aside from walking out.

Here are just some of the walkouts:

Pembroke Pines Charter High School in Pembroke Pines, Florida

Falcon Cove Middle School in Weston, Florida

McArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida

Western High School in Davie, Florida
