It's Giving Tuesday

Help us give back with our Angel Tree program and other charities that need your help.

November 27, 2018

So we enjoyed Thanksgiving followed by serious shopping on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday and now, today, is Giving Tuesday!

I'm a big believer in giving to charities and helping those who may find themselves in a difficult situation. Today is a perfect day to be grateful for all your blessings and maybe give back in whatever way you can.

One way is helping us find gifts for families who may not have a Christmas this season as we partner once again with WKMG for the Salvation Army's  ANGEL TREE program.  Click here for all the info.

Another local charity is Community Based Care of Central Florida which will soon be known as Embrace Families. They need Christmas gifts and donations as they help local children especially older kids transitioning out of foster care.   Click here for the info.

Barry Manilow has his Manilow Music Project where you can donate slightly used instruments in exchange for tickets to his show. Manilow donated a Yamaha piano to Jones High School. Click here for info.

As we go about preparing for Christmas, our family and friends in the Panhandle are still getting their lives back together after Hurrican Michael. They still need a lot of help. Click here for info.

There are so many great organizations and charities that you can help in which ever way you can. Just make sure it is a legitimate charity. Always check Charity Navigator for more info.

Two of my favorite local charities are Coalition for the Homeless and Second Harvest Food Bank

Whatever you decide to do, just do what you can and give what you can. Believe me, it will make your heart smile.

Thank you and God Bless. ~grace
