Who doesn't want to do something nefarious for their ex on Valentine's Day? Especially if they just broke up with you as stats have shown so as not to deal with Valentine's Day; not cool. Well here's something a tad wicked but harmless and yet, doing some good.

❤️ This Valentine's Day, we are hosting the first-ever “Cry Me a Cockroach” event. You can name a live cockroach, and we'll serve it up as a snack to one of our animals. If your ex was a snake, you could even name a rat, and we'll feed it to a reptile! ---- Name your roach or rat, visit: http://bit.ly/31r80PZ

A San Antonio Zoo is offering people the chance to name a cockroach or rat after an ex and have it fed to a bird or reptile. What fun huh? The San Antonio zoo is hosting “Cry Me a Cockroach” event, where staff will feed roaches and rats to birds, snakes and other reptiles that are named after people’s exes.

A $5 donation, people can name a roach after their ex or for $25, they can use that name on a rat. Anyone who takes part will receive a certificate that can be shared on their social media pages. Wow that is clever marketing!

If you're in the San Antonio area you can watch the event live at the zoo on Feb. 14. For all other heartbroken individuals out of town tune in via Facebook Live.

If this is something that you'd like to help in healing your broken heart while helping the zoo go to sazoo.org/valentine. Happy Valentines Day! ~grace
