I don't have children so I've always thought my calling was to help children in other ways which is why whenever a charity calls me for help regarding a charity specifically for children I don't hesitate to say yes!

I'm so honored to be part of this annual event for an organization that has been around for the last seven years with a simple mission: find a cure for childhood cancer.

Co-Founders of Runway To Hope are Mark and Josie NeJame, well known locally because of all they do for our community, began this great event in 2010 with 30 children who were either  battling or conquered their cancer.

Runway to Hope has raised approximately $6 million. Pledges exceeding $1 million have been made to each of Central Florida’s children's hospitals; Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Florida Hospital for Children, and Nemours Children’s Hospital. Runway to Hope has insisted that each of the hospitals utilize the funds to create new and unique programs, treatments and care that were otherwise absent or underserved in the Central Florida region.

The Runway To Hope Spring Fashion Soiree is tomorrow at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. Go to www.runwaytohope.org for information, to make an online donation, or to purchase one of the very few remaining seats. This is something you don't want to miss!  This year hosted by Lisa Ling, Melissa Rivers and Joey Fatone, and 100 local and national celebrities escorting our real VIP's, who are the 175 kids who will strut their beautiful selves down the runway.

I will be posting some photos on SUNNY FM facebook page and Instagram of my celebrity escort and all the other children I'm so eager to see.  ~grace
