You’ve probably heard about the new "OK, boomer". It's a new phrase used by millennials when they think a "baby boomer" does anything out of touch, that they don't like, hurts the environment, or goes against anything they believe. (So, basically, when boomers do anything?)

Well, clearly people are not happy about this. It turns out they have some back up.  According to the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, you could get FIRED at work if you use that phrase. Why? Well...the act bans people from creating a hostile work environment over someone's age . . . and "OK, boomer" qualifies.

FYI: That rule does NOT apply both ways.  It only applies to people over 40, so your older coworkers are free to make millennial jokes with no repercussions.
