Then, listen on Fridays with Grace as she highlights the 1059 SUNNY FM First Responder of the Week and gives one nominee a $50 gift card to Sonny's BBQ as a 'thank you' from us, FOX 35 and the Central Florida community. We'll give one to you too!

Katie Padgett works for Vol Co.  She works so hard going to school and as a full time paramedic, wife and mother.  She is so dedicated and will go the extra mile for her patients.  I would love to honor her for her hard work!

 

First Responder of the Week #5

Miranda (Mandy) Wrinkle of the Apopka Police Department. She was nominated by her Aunt Jannelle.

"My reason is how proud I am of her for choosing this career in today's climate. I believe she sets a great example for other young women.

She helped recovery efforts in the panhandle after Hurricane Michael devastated the area a year ago."
